Instructions to make Claires Chicken Tikka Masala:
  1. Chop chicken into small cubes,squeeze lemon juice add the yoghurt and the sweet paprika.Mix and marinate in fridge for 2 or 3 hours.
  2. Make the Tikka Masala paste next if using seeds toast them then put into pestle and mortar and grind till fine add all other paste ingredients.Grind and mix paste.
  3. In large heavy frypan add butter oil onions, chilli,ginger,corriander cook till soft.Add tikka masala paste and chicken.Add salt and pepper.
  4. Add milk and tomatoes.Fill the milk can with water and add that to pan.Stir,boil then simmer for about 20 mins with lid on.Check it dosent boil dry.
  5. To serve .Cook rice add lemon juice,zest and lemon black pepper.Cook peas add chopped garlic or garlic powder and butter.Cook and mash potatoes add mustard which ever type you like.
