  9. Make ready 1 Fresh Chilli Chopped
  10. Make ready 4-5 Garlic cloves chopped
  11. Get Handful Thai Basil or Holy Basil (not Sweet Basil)
  12. Make ready as per need Enough Veg oil to fry the chicken
  13. Prepare as required Use little of the same oil as needed to cook the sauce

  15. Make ready as needed Black and white toasted Sesame seeds
  16. Prepare as needed Thai Basil or Holy Basil
Instructions to make Basil Lime Teriyaki Chicken:
  1. Put the Chicken pieces into a bowl, add Teriyaki sauce and black pepper, mix well and let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes. Mix Cornstarch and rice flour and dredge the chicken pieces in it. Heat oil and fry till it's golden brown and well cooked.
  2. Put it on a kitchen tissue paper to absorb excess oil if any. It took me 20 minutes to fry chicken in batches. While chicken pieces are frying, mix in Terayaki Sauce, Lime juice and zest, honey, water and cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Take little oil from the chicken fried oil and add the chopped garlic and chilli, when it's about to start browning, add the mixed sauce prepared. Then add the fried chicken and cook till the sauce starts thickening, add in the Thai Basil too and mix well and your Chicken is ready. It will take about 5-10 minutes. Put it on a serving plate, garnish with sesame seeds and more Thai Basil, if you want.
  4. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
